Obama And Illegal Immigration

President Obama announced a policy to stop deporting young illegal immigrants who entered the United States as children if they meet certain requirements. He called it "the right thing to do".

This might be the right thing to do to win Hispanic votes but not the right thing to do for America. This would be a fine idea if today he also announced a policy to secure the border and stop millions of more people coming here with there kids. This would be a fine idea if Obama had done something in the last 3 years to stop illegal immigration. This would be a fine idea if Obama did not attack states for doing what the federal government has failed to do.


Obama's plan to stop deporting young illegal immigrants might make some people feel all warm and fuzzy inside. But it does nothing to address the real problem.

Mexican drug cartels are operating in more than a thousand U.S. cities and towns.Colombian and Mexican cartels reap $18 billion to $39 billion from drug sales in the United States each year.

The video below is from 2009 the drug war has gotten much worst now. Mexico is on the edge of a total collapse. If that happens we would see a flood of people coming here.

If Obama wants to stop the flow of drugs, money and guns he should secure the border. If Obama wants to keep Americans safe he should secure the border. Our open borders are the number one thing that keeps the drug cartels in business. Drug cartels almost completely control some of the states along the border. Phoenix, Arizona has become the kidnapping capital of America, with more incidents than any other city in the world outside of Mexico .

Will someone please tell me how President Obama new policy to stop deporting young illegal immigrants is going to help solve any of these problems? How is it going to help secure the border? How is it going to help stop people from getting kidnapped in Phoenix, Arizona? It is all going to hell.

On the subject of illegal immigration we also need to talk about fairness. Obama loves to talk about fairness. If Obama's new policy fair to all the people who play by the rules and come to this country legally? Is it fair to people from the UK, Japan,Africa and other parts of the way. People say we need an immigration policy and a path to citizenship. We have a path to citizenship that works for many people from all over the world. Is it fair to let people from Mexico keep breaking the rules that people from the UK and other places must follow?
