Round 2: Federal charges and Civil lawsuits for Casey Anthony

I am not a lawyer but there has to be something that can be done. If a woman can win a 2.9 million lawsuit because the coffee at McDonald's was too hot. If Martha Stewart can be sent to jail for lying. There has to be some way to get Casey Anthony.

Civil Lawsuits

Casey Anthony knew where her daughter's body was all the time. Maybe a lawsuit for the money that was spent on searching for Caylee? Maybe all the volunteers that took part in the search could sue for emotional distress? Maybe fraud?

Federal Charges

The state courts can not go after Casey Anthony for the murder of Caylee. But the federal court can. Maybe the Federal Government could prosecute Casey Anthony for civil rights violations? There has to be something they can charge her with. Time to see our tax dollars in action.

Casey Anthony talked to FBI agents a couple of times. If she lied to the FBI agents there could be a couple of things the federal government could charge her with.

Casey Anthony's mother

Her mother need to be charged with perjury. She lied in court when she said she was the one doing searches for chloroform on the computer. 4 years in jail can be given for perjury.

The U.S Supreme Court: Try Casey Anthony in Federal Court

We let Caylee down once. Let's not do it again. We have to try and do something.
